My stay was quite disappointing overall. I booked a suite for six but received two unsatisfactory rooms instead, and the service was incredibly rude. On a brighter note, I did find a wonderful hotel by the lake later, which salvaged my trip to Uzungol. The once picturesque area has sadly deteriorated over the years, making it hard to recommend visiting at all.

The rude staff didn’t help matters, and I ended up leaving without a place to stay for my trip. While I ultimately found a better hotel on the lake, this experience really soured my first impression of the area.
